If you attended His Holiness Dalai Lama's teachings on Guhyasamaja this year in Australia, you may be interested in this:

For the first time, there will be a Guhyasamaja Retreat at the Land of Joy Retreat Centre at Greenhaugh, Northumberland in the north of the UK. It will run from Saturday 14th to Friday 20th November, 2015. The purpose of the retreat is to deepen our understanding of the practice. Booking details are available by email from roger [at] Students must commit to attend for entire days at a time. It is not required that you attend the whole week, but that would be preferred. In December 2007, during the Guhyasamaja retreat at Jamyang Buddhist Centre in London, the second edition of the Sadhana was used for the first time. This edition can be found in the initiates section of this website.

In February 2007, Geshe Tashi gave an Oral Transmission (lung) of three important Guhyasamaja Commentaries - two by Nagarjuna and one by Je Tsongkhapa. Recordings of this are available in the initiates section

Following the 2006 Guhyasamaja Retreat held at Jamyang Buddhist Centre in London, we have put together a brief guide on how to hold your own Guhyasamaja Retreat, based on guidance from H.H. Dalai Lama.  You  can find it in the Teachings section of the Initiates area.

Guhyasamaja Tantra

The practice of Guhyasamaja is of particular significance to the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism, and also to the Lineage of the Dalai Lamas. It's propagation and practice with correct intention is seen as instrumental to the continued flourishing of Buddhism, the Gelugpa school and the His Holiness the Dalai Lama, whose main aim is to be of as much benefit to as many sentient beings as possible.

This will include audio downloads of the teachings from the past two years; various sadhana and links to textual resources elsewhere; mandala and deity images from Gyud Mey Tantra College and the Kalachakra Temple of the Namgyal Dratsang to help with visualization.


Learn together on the planned online forum. A structured discussion forum will be launched later to explore topics and answer questions.
